History
The roots of EEG info go back to the mid eighties when Siegfried und Susan Othmer started a small business and clinic to make neurofeedback available to clients and therapists.
Since the relaunch of EEG Info in 2002, the company group is enjoying a fast growing number of happy customers who profit from the company's unparalleled experience in neurofeedback training methods as well as neurofeedback system development.
Today, EEG Info is a multi-national enterprise with main offices in three countries and a global network of suppliers, customers and partners.
Milestones
Before 2002: Siegfried and Susan Othmer develop the leading neurofeedback training approach as well as leading-edge neurofeedback systems. In 1997, Sue begins working with T3-T4 interhemispheric work - a divergence from amplitude training, and the beginning of the new phase training
2002: Kurt Othmer starts EEG Support in the U.S. with five employees
2003: Revenue more than doubled - the offering is overwhelmingly accepted by therapists
2004: Bernhard Wandernoth joins the team contributing development and production of neurofeedback equipment and software. 9 employees in the U.S. office, QIKtest CPT product released
2005: Impedance Meter product added, first NeuroAmp prototypes. InnerTube released as most immersive feedback game back then. Also ParticleEditor and HyperPong. Creation of scalable network of suppliers and partners for development, qualification, production and quality assurance of high-quality medical grade instruments and software
2006: Medical device approval for NeuroAmp, sales begin. Start of EEG Info Europe in a little office in Switzerland by Claudia Wandernoth, the wife of Bernhard Wandernoth
2007: Approval for Cygnet software, first release. DualDriveXtreme added as feedback game. 15 employees in the U.S. office, 2 in Switzerland. EEG Info USA incorporated as Inc.
2008: Low frequency training protocols thought for the first time. Cygnet supports training frequencies down to 0.01 Hz. Start of subsidiary in Germany to better serve EU countries. Protocol Guide released and also translated into German. Accepted as one of the most helpful tools in clinical practice
2009: Ultra low frequency training protocols become widely accepted by therapists who are enthusiastic about their efficacy. Cygnet supoorts 0.001Hz now. ToyTrainAdventure added as feedback game. Despite global financial crisis increase of revenue and profitability. First neurofeedback training course in Germany in German language is an overwhelming success. 23 employees in USA, Germany and Switzerland.
2010: New EEG Institute training center with 1400 square foot training facility.
